16:00 Some moves are starting to take place now. Highly rated goalkeeper Jack Butland has been signed by Stoke but like Wilfried Zaha is set to spend the remainder of the season on loan with Birmingham. QPR continue to set the pace today and are apparently close to signing West Brom stirker Peter Odemwingie.
15:02 Norwich have had another bid rejected for Celtic's in form striker Gary Hooper. After the signing of Luciano Becchio earlier today if Norwich could get Hooper as well it would be a fantastic days work for the club. This back and forth will probably be one that won't be resolved til just before midnight.

12:15 That Becchio move has now been confirmed by Norwich City. That's a big blow for Leeds' promotion hopes. Steve Morrison moves to Elland road as part of the deal. In typically clichéd fashion, Becchio says "I cannot wait to play my first game for Norwich and the chance to play in the Premier League."

If that deal was to go through, it will be interesting to see what happens with Asmir Begovic. Man United are said to be keen admirers of the Stoke number 1.
