So there you have it, another transfer deadline day has come and gone. It's helicopter pilots across England's busiest day of the year and their noble efforts have brought us, well, one of the quite frankly strangest deadline days in recent memory.
Check in to our deadline day live blog for a complete run down of everything that went down, but below are just a few of the most noteworthy moves.
The One We Didn't See Coming
David Luiz glorious locks will once again be on the loose in the Premier League after Chelsea, in their wisdom, spent £30 million on bringing the Brazilian centre-half/Sideshow Bob impersonator back to England. We don't know how this one will turn out but we're damn sure it will be entertaining.
Welcome back, @DavidLuiz_4!

The 'He Went Where?!' Transfer
It may just be a season-long loan but Jack Wilshere is now a Bournemouth player, temporarily at least. And in doing so, he turned down the likes of AC Milan and Roma. Everyone, we now live in a world where some players would prefer to sign for Bournemouth than AC Milan. I think Leicester City broke football somehow...

The Biggest Irish Move of the Day
Jeff Hendrick will now get to showcase his talents in the top level of English football after putting pen to paper on a transfer from Derby to Burnley in a "club record undisclosed fee". Elsewhere, Aiden McGready is on his way to Preston on loan and Eunan O'Kane joined Leeds on a two-year deal while apparently (according to the teamsheet at least) sitting on Ireland's bench against Oman.

The 'He Might Have Some Explaining To Do' Transfer
Moussa Sissoko was linked with roughly twenty-five clubs in the last week and he was clearly chasing a move away from Newcastle. He eventually agreed a deal with Spurs, just two months after declaring his undying love for Arsenal.
Ouch.

The 'This Is How Leicester Win The League Again' Transfer
It's been a pretty successful transfer window for Claudio Ranieri's men, the loss of N'Golo Kante notwithstanding and they doubled-down on their attacking options by signing Sporting Lisbon's Islam Slimani, a terrific player who bagged 31 goals last season. He was Leicester's primary target all summer long and will bring a new aggressive style to Leicester's attack.
He's also Algerian so, you know, a friend for Riyad Mahrez so that he doesn't decide to leave the club in January.
