The African Cup Of Nations may be a manager's worst nightmare, and it's made even more frustrating by the fact that it takes place every two years, but for the fans it can be a bit more enjoyable.
Penalty shootouts are always incredible drama, there'll be some seriously fun celebrations throughout the tournament, and the kits are inevitably gorgeous.
2017 is no exception in terms of the jerseys, and having had a look at all of them through the group stages and the images released before the tournament kicked off in Gabon on Saturday, we picked out the five best on show this year.
#5 - Mali (Home)
Intimidating.
French sportswear company Airness thought the best idea for Freddie Kanoute's former side would be to splash a great big eagle across the middle. And they may have been right. Seriously cool effort.
#4 - Ghana (Home)
An absolute cracker for the 'Black Stars' of Ghana, this jersey is one of the very best for a nation that always has sensational jerseys at major tournaments.
#3 - Senegal (Away)
Keeping in line with the animal themed prints, Senegal's away jersey is a bloody awesome. A great big lion roaring across the shoulder to match the badge. How many Liverpool fans would fancy one of these with Mane's name and number on the back?
#2 - DR Congo (Home)
Aided by the fact that, like every GAA club in the country, it's made by O'Neills, the vibrant and eye-catching DR Congo jersey is once again really, really nice.
One of the more random sponsorships in the football world, we're glad it exists.
#1 - Ivory Coast (Home)
Beautiful.
Big, bold colours, a classic old school collar, and brilliant use of elephant tusks in the design on the back. As beautiful a jersey as you are likely to see.
