Another day another James McClean controversy. His post-match scuffle after a gesture to Sunderland fans today has caused Tony Pulis to come out with possibly the best response of anyone to the whole thing.
Speaking about the incident, Pulis told journalists:
He's not the sharpest tool in the box, and that's not being disrespectful to him.

Although he did qualify his comment with 'He's a smashing lad, really nice. I didn't see [the incident]. If he's out of order, I'll have a word with him.
You would have to worry for McClean however that if he continues to make headlines for the wrong reasons then perhaps his place in the side will come into question. Who are we to say though.
