As we count down to the coronation of the winner of this year's FA Cup, Balls.ie are delighted to announce a brilliant video series in association with Budweiser. Ahead of every FA Cup round, we'll be unveiling an exclusive and intimate interview with a range of football legends, who'll be discussing their own FA Cup experiences.
Ahead of this weekend's fourth round action, we have a special interview with Tony Cascarino. It's safe to say Cascarino experienced everything in his football career but his FA Cup experiences are particularly fascinating. In 1984, Cascarino played for tiny Gillingham, who found themselves taking on Everton in a fourth round replay. Cascarino had a gilt-edge chance to win the match late on but it was not to be. The miss haunts him to this day. Then in 1994, Cascarino's Chelsea side found themselves in the FA Cup final against a Manchester United team with Eric Cantona. The match did not go to plan, and it ended up being Cascarino's last match in England.
Cascarino discusses it all in this video. Enjoy it and visit Balls ahead of every FA Cup round for another installment of the 'A Pint With...'
