Although Celtic may not quite be struggling to kick-on in the Scottish Premiership this season, Brendan Rodgers has endured one of his slower starts in charge of the Glasgow side. Starting the day three points shy of top-of-the-table Hearts, this Tom Rogic goal got Celtic off to the perfect start as 2nd placed Hibernian arrived in Park Head today.
With a win potentially enough to lift Celtic back into top-spot (depending how Hearts do at home to Aberdeen), Rodgers will be thrilled with how quickly his Scottish champions got off the mark this afternoon.
Some wonderful interplay allowed the Australian Rogic in to play a quick pass into the feet of James Forrest. Without a moment's thought, Forrest returned the favour and the resulting Tom Rogic goal came via a wonderful curling finish from the 25-year-old.
1-0 ahead within the opening two minutes, Celtic's lead was doubled quickly thereafter; Olivier Ntcham doing the business this time around.
