The January transfer window has been reasonably quiet so far, but you would expect it to spring into life very soon. We have all of today's transfer rumours as teams seek to strengthen their squads for the remainder of the season.

AC Milan interested in Marouane Fellaini

AC Milan have long held an interest in Manchester United's Fellaini, and are hoping to complete a deal for the player this month.

Nieuws Blad claim that they are keen to bring him to Italy, with his playing time severely reduced since Jose Mourinho's departure from Old Trafford.

Divock Origi set to remain at Liverpool

Divock Origi had been linked with a move to Fulham and Wolves this month, with his playing opportunities severely limited at Anfield this season.

Jurgen Klopp has decided to keep the player at Liverpool, however, with the Liverpool Echo reporting that the German is keen to keep some depth in his squad after Dominc Solanke's move to Bournemouth.

Juventus reject Morata/Higuain swap deal

Chelsea have set their sights towards signing Gozalo Higuain during this window, despite the player being on loan at AC Milan for the remainder of the season. They are confident that they can work out a solution, however, even if their latest proposal has been knocked back.

Juventus have rejected a swap deal involving Higuain and Alvaro Morata accruing to Calcio Mercato, with the Turin club keen for a cash only deal. AC Milan would also have to consent to any transfer.

David Luiz open to Benfica reunion

The Mirror say that David Luiz is open to a return to Benfica, if his contract is not renewed at Chelsea. The Brazilian is a free agent this summer, and Chelsea appear reluctant to sign him to a new contract.

Luiz left Benfica in 2011, moving to London in a £22million deal.

Chelsea demand Hudson-Odoi buyback clause

Callum Hudson-Odoi is keen to force through a move to Bayern Munich, with Chelsea losing the battle to keep the youngster at the club. While they will not let him go without a fight, they seem to have a contingency plan in place should he head to Germany.

They will demand a buyback clause in any transfer according to The Times, which would allow them to re-sign the player for a fixed fee. Bayern are understandably hesitant about such an agreement and that is delaying the deal at the moment.
