Sky Sports News are reporting that Spurs are close to securing the services of DeAndre Yedlin from Seattle Sounders for around £3m. The right back was one of the shining stars in a USA team that stole the hearts of everyone at this summer's World Cup.

The Mirror are claiming that QPR are attempting to hijack Swansea's attempt to sign Jonathan De Guzman, who spent the last two seasons on loan in Wales, with £7m being the fee quoted.

And lastly, Ronald Koeman has apparently told The Sun that Morgan Schneiderlin is going nowhere, despite the French midfielder insisting he wants to leave.
