CD Lugo are a team from the northwest of Spain who ply their trade in the Segunda División. The team are not exactly world beaters, the closest they've been to promotion to La Liga was an 11th place finish in 2013. So outside of the small Galician city, it's been highly unlikely that you'll bump into a full-kit wearing Lugo fan. Well that may be about to change with these ingenious new designs.
The club's sponsor, Estrella Galicia, have had a hand in the design of the home jersey. The brewing company have convinced the club to play their home games looking like a pint of lager.

For the away jersey, they decided they would team the beer with some delectable local cuisine, octopus seemed the obvious choice. Who knows, maybe the tentacles could be an off-putting influence on opponents.

Before anyone bemoans the blatant alcohol placement, it must be pointed out that the company are advertising their alcohol free beer. Regardless, niche jersey collectors everywhere must been fumbling with their debit cards as we speak.
