Tipperary Man Held For 3 Hours After World Cup Pitch Invasion

Oisin McQuinn, from Ahenny in South Tipperary found himself in a spot of bother after invading the pitch during France v Switzerland.

McQuinn painted himself in the French colours and drew on a moustache, along with the words 'Eiffel Tower' and an arrow to his penis, before making a run to the pitch.

The Irish Times report that he spent three hours being questioned by Brazilian police. McQuinn has been touring South America and is a student in University of Limerick.

After the whole event he took to Facebook to reflect on the day.
