The early career of Tim Howard is to be the subject of a feature film being made by Amazon.
The Sports Business Journal reports that the film will conclude with Howard's debut for Manchester United in the 2003/4 season. The goalkeeper made the move to Old Trafford after six seasons with MLS side MetroStars.
Howard's struggles with Tourette's syndrome will also be part of the film.

Mark Ciardi, one of those behind the project, has wanted to make a movie about Howard since watching a documentary about him in 2005.
"I don’t think that would have been a smart thing to do on my end," said Howard about the idea he could have had a film made about him 15 years ago.
"I had a lot of my career ahead of me. I didn’t want to be a one-hit wonder, I wanted to work and get my feet under me.
"It’s a pretty cool story, if I do say so myself. We’re far enough removed from that moment that we can capture it in that best light."
The film's creators hope to shoot at Old Trafford next year.
