Playing in an Asian Cup quarter-final against China on home soil, Tim Cahill has scored a belter to put the Socceroos 1-0 up.

The Aussies are favourites for the tournament, hosting it for the first time, but were loooking to bounce back after a loss to South Korea in their last group game. The Koreans earlier beat Uzbekistan 2-0 AET.
