Anyone who didn't have a Sky Sports subscription and remembers watching the World Darts championship on the BBC in the 1990s can remember the surprise they felt when they first heard there was a player called Phil Taylor who was rather good.

The game of Darts split needlessly and traumatically in 1993. Here is the story of that vicious and protracted split between the game's top players who eventually went on to form the PDC and the British Darts Organisation led by the irascible Olly Croft.

The fly on the wall sporting documentary has a long and venerable history in this country. Here was one of the first. Shelbourne had not yet moved to Tolka Park, and were in the doldrums during the 1970s. This documentary captures their run to the 1975 FAI Cup Final
