Phil Thompson has thrown his tuppence-worth into the day's drama, saying that Liverpool will likely sell their star forward, Luis Suarez in the summer.
Speaking on Newstalk.ie Thompson also said that the Alexis Sanchez to Liverpool deal is all but done.
Even just yesterday I had heard things from people, newspaper guys with their ear very close to the ground at Liverpool, saying that the Sanchez deal is actually done.
Thompson went on to suggest that the deal could be used as leverage to ease Suarez out of Liverpool.
Will it now angle for them to ease Luis Suarez out of Liverpool?, it looks that way.
