We had thought that Jurgen Klopp was the only Dortmund manager capable of Charisma, but part-time James Bond villain Thomas Tuchel was a bundle of extroverted last night.
The current Dortmund manager was naturally in quite good form after his side's 4-0 hammering of Benfica ensured passage to the quarter-finals, safely protecting Dortmund's reputation as the eternal Dark Horses of European competition.
That all said, Tuchel seemed far more enamored with Barcelona's progression than Dortmund's. After Dortmund's victory, he gave an interview with a wildly excited German TV presenter, and revealed that the Dortmund players watched the end of the Camp Nou miracle in their own dressing room.
So much of football is wrapped up in faux-enmity and nonsense, this is refreshing. Watch below:
This game has the ability to turn grown, professional men into giggling children. I love it I love it I love it I lo pic.twitter.com/3nS35MYc8W
