Thomas Muller has seen red in the Champions League tonight after a wild kick to the head of Nicolás Tagliafico.
With the scores poised at 1-1 and Ajax down to ten men, the German international looked to take the ball down after a raking pass, only to nearly take the head off of Tagliafico be accident.
There was clearly no intent on Muller's part it was a reckless move by the 29-year-old, with the player requiring staples following the clash.
The drama wasn't to end there however with Ajax getting a penalty seven minutes later when Jerome Boateng took down Kasper Dolberg in the box. Hakim Ziyech dispatched the spot kick, but Bayern hit back, levelling things up from the spot after Tagliafico took down Thiago in the box.
Kinglsey Coman then popped up with what everyone thought would end up being the winner, curling into the bottom corner in the 90th minute. But it wasn't to be as a goalmouth scramble minutes saw Niklas Sule turn the ball into his own net to leave the final score 3-3.
Bayern Munich top Group E with 14 points, while Ajax will have to settle for second spot on 12. The draw for the knockout round will take place on Monday.
