Schweinsteiger, Ramos, Muller. One way or another it looks like Man United are determined to sign a ready made world class footballer this summer.
Schweinsteiger is set to stay with Bayern, the Ramos deal is up in the air and now Muller has spoken out to try and clear up Man United's rumoured £50 million bid. The Germany attacker was asked by Bild about the nature bid and while he did appear to confirm that something was in the works, he made it clear that he was happy to stay in the Bundesliga.
When you get an offer you consider it automatically. A request by a big club is an honour and appreciation that your output was good. But I feel fine at Bayern and my contract runs until 2019. There is nothing more to say about this speculation.
There may be nothing more to say but in the world of football transfers, that's certainly an interesting take on things. It may not have been a come and get me plea but he certainly left a bit of wiggle room should United be able to strike a deal with the Bundesliga champions.
We won't put this rumour to bed just yet.
