Thierry Henry has left BBC's punditry team to return to his club commitments with New York Red Bulls and for a moment everyone was disappointed. But then everything got very French and it was revealed that Thierry had left a parting message ahead of France's match against Germany. Thierry had put together a rather emotional reciting of Charles Baudelaire's poem 'Elevation' over the music from Inception.
If it was someone else maybe we'd see the appeal but we'll never forget the incident Thierry, never.
