If it's not lads getting misspelled tattoos on their arse cheeks it's lads changing their name to club grounds; I've had it up to here with football.
Gary White Hart Lane is an Arsenal Tottenham Hotspur fan, as you can guess by his new name. He is 55 but describes himself as being a Spurs fan for over 40 years so he's not even a lifelong fan. Yet for some reason he decided to change his name to their stadium.
White Hart Lane – formally just Lane – told The Surrey Advertiser:
I lke a bit of banter. I know a lot of people at Spurs, some of them with stalls up there.
That’s what happens when you’ve been going for 40 years. When I tell people my full name on the phone they can crack up. If it’s an Arsenal or Chelsea fan they can get the hump. And when I told my mum I’d changed it, she nearly fell over.
On a more serious note, he also puts the reasoning behind his name change to the death of this three-year-old son, who never had a chance to visit the stadium. I still don't see the sense in it though.
He also changed the name of his house to White Hart Lane and has a blue cockerel on the door. Inside the house, he likes high presses. Get it? Cause Spurs play a high pressing game you see.
