You'd have to imagine that this kind of error is far more frequently played out in the lower reaches of the GAA on blustery, ball-like-a-bar-of-soap Tuesday evenings, when the goalkeeper is a reluctant stand-in and his worst nightmare is bearing down on top of him - an undercooked 45.
Poor old Bill - to be fair to him we should mention that he was a Mexican championship winner with León last year.
