Warren Gatland never sat down for an on-camera natter with Eddie O'Sullivan, nor was Tony Blair was asked to conduct a probing interview with Gordon Brown, but Setanta asked former Sligo Rovers manager Owen Heary to sit down for a chat with his successor Joseph N'Do.
Heary and N'Do know each other a long time, going back to the famous Shelbourne team of the mid-2000s. When Heary was appointed Sligo manager before the start of this season, N'Do, who left the club at the end of last season, was re-hired as a coach.
Heary was delicate in his phrasing of the opening question.
After gettin' me the sack, how are you gettin' on?
N'Do began the interview by admitting he had been practicing to become manager three weeks before Heary got the sack.
