Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma lead Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors 2-1 what was described as a 'gripping clash' in a South Korean league match earlier this week. After one of the 'Motors' players was injured and the ball was put out of play, former Middlesbrough 'star' Lee Dong-Gook was expected to kick the ball back to the goalkeeper (around 1:50 in the video) but instead, took a leaf out Nwanko Kanu's book.

Well maybe he didn't quite mean it but it was a great finish regardless and a goalkeeper scoring a deliberate own goal is a rare and welcome sight. Jeonbuk's act of sportsmanship turned out to be the winning goal for Seognam as the match finished 3-2.
