Thierry Henry and Ledley King squared off for a Sky Sports Gloves Are Off parody ahead of the North London Derby, and frankly speaking the aptly named Boots Are Off - which saw Graeme Souness play the Johnny Nelson role - provided more entertainment than most of its boxing predecessors.
This weekend, White Hart Lane plays host to its final ever North London Derby, which got the Arsenal great reminiscing over a similar fixture 12 years ago, when Highbury hosted its own last Arsenal vs Spurs fixture.
Henry - who had come on as a substitute and was unbeaten in North London derbies throughout his Arsenal career to that point - recalled how he watched Emmanuel Eboué get injured and Spurs' players refuse to put the ball out. Seconds later, Robbie Keane tapped home Edgar Davids' cross from the wing which Eboué would might have been guarding and Arsenal were behind with 25 minutes remaining.
Henry explained in detail how the entire incident, and particularly Keane's celebration in front of the Arsenal fans, both angered and worried him.
Oddly enough, those of you who remember what transpired to be a 1-1 draw thanks to Emmanuel Adebayor's equaliser, might also recall that Keane didn't produce his trademark acrobatics at all. Instead simply spread his arms wide while facing a stand full of angry Gooners.
Henry, it seems, was so affected by the goal that his mind has added a few legs to it over the years. He would famously reap revenge on Robbie a mere three years later while both were wearing international colours.
The full episode of Boots Are Off is worth a gander, and is available on Sky Sports.
