Monaco boss Thierry Henry has publicly apologised to Strasbourg defender Kenny Lala for insulting him during a game on Saturday night.
Henry's outfit lost 5-1, a result that leaves them in the relegation zone of Ligue 1. In the first half French TV captured Henry hurling insults at the opposition's player while he was taking a throw.

"Yes, I regret these words," he said after the game. "It's not the first time. Sometimes I do it in English. I just reacted, I'm sorry, yes, but I'm only human."
The Frenchman was also furious post-match at a separate incident during the game. "Since I got here I haven't said anything about VAR and the referees but this is too much. I need someone to explain to me why VAR did not work on a clear penalty on Rony Lopez."
