Thiago Silva has been welcoming his new teammate Angel Di Maria to PSG and simultaneously pissing off Man United fans, with his comments about the club.
And trust me, having worked on the internet for quite some time, you don't want to be pissing off Man United fans.
Speaking about Di Maria's move, Silva said:
People now need to respect PSG as one of the big clubs in Europe. Real Madrid and Barcelona are probably on another level, but after that if you join PSG you are you probably taking a step up.
We went further than any English clubs in Europe last year.
Needless to say, the response has not been kind:
