After the Champions League group stage draw took place earlier today, Monaco will now host the Europa League group stage draw on Friday as we wait to see who makes it through from tonight's final qualification games.
Liverpool are already in, of course, but there's some bad news for the club as the top seeds have been revealed and they are not among the top 12 teams in tomorrow's draw.
Liverpool's co-efficient rating has dropped to 47.078 based on their results in Europe over the past five seasons, and as a result they will be in pot 2 of the Europa League draw.
Possible pot one opponents include the likes of Schalke, Basel, Napoli, Marseille, Villarreal, and Fiorentina.
While the Europa League will no doubt be low on the list of Brendan Rodgers priories, the club would still expect a decent run, if anything to improve that co-efficient rating, and having a tough team like some of the above in the group will no doubt present difficulties.
