An irate manager on the sideline and plenty of swearing, this clip certainly has some of the main ingredients for a stereotypical local Irish soccer scene.
It's from a 2002 Leinster Senior League game involving Dunlavin FC in white who score the goal but we are unsure of the team who concede.
Dunlavin are awarded a free kick on the edge of the box. The opposition manager urges his defence to "stay with the player", this doesn't happen though as the Dunlavin number 7 slips through and deflects the free kick to the back of the net. A scene of mini chaos breaks loose as the opposition management shout cries of offside at the referee, ask nicely if he has been to the opticians lately and enquire if someone has been using money to gain favourable decisions from him. All this amid some blaring car horns.
He's not standing for it though and he sends the offending manager from the pitch. Right too, he did get the decision spot on.
