Luke Shaw was set to stay in Holland to undergo two rounds of surgery on his fractured left leg, and there's been some good news from the hospital tonight, as Sky Sports News have given an update on the Manchester United full-back.
Some on twitter have also pointed out that "BREAKING" at the beginning of the tweet may not have been the most sensitive way to deliver this news.

Complications are always a worry in these situations so it's good to hear that the operation appears to have gone well, but that's not all, as Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal spoke earlier today and revealed that he had personally spoken to Shaw:
He sounded very strong and that was amazing for me. That was a big surprise. That was a good signal, even though he knows he has a long way to go. It's not easy but his family are there and we will send people to him and when he comes back we will have everything ready. He may come home tomorrow.
He's got a tough road ahead of him, but hopefully he can get back to action and back to his best for the start of next season.
