Apparently Rihanna wants to buy Liverpool.
The singer showed she had a huge interest in football with constant Tweets about matches during the World Cup and has since set up a football academy in Barbados. A few days ago the Daily Mail reported:
But now it's becoming clear she really is serious. She's talking about setting up a football academy in her native Barbados. Then her big dream is to be involved with a UK club.
And now Spanish paper El Mundo Deportivo are reporting that that club is Liverpool, after she apparently took the advice of Didier Drogba.
I'm calling bullshit on all of this until I see some quotes from her. If the takeover actually happens I will eat Jack Charlton's USA 94 cap.
