There Will Be A New Inquiry Into The 96 Deaths At The Hillsborough Disaster.

The British High Court has quashed the original finding of 'accidental death' for the 96 people who died at the Hillsborough disaster on April 15th, 1989.

Recommended

Attorney General Dominic Grieve made the application after new medical evidence emerged which shows the lives of 41 people could have been saved.

Lord Chief Justice Lord Judge who made the judgement said:

There has been a profound and palpable belief that justice had not been done [and] it is clear there are sound grounds for this application

Former Durham Chief Constable Jon Stoddart will lead the new inquiry.
