Snapchat is continuing to grow and grow, and with more of those stupid (but stupidly entertaining) filters being added every week, more and more people are downloading the app and sending pointless expiring pictures of themselves to everyone who will look at them.

Sadly, Premier League footballers have been much slower to acknowledge the benefits, of which there are very few to be brutally honest, of allowing your fans to follow your every move on Snapchat, but that doesn't mean there aren't a few who stand out and make it good fun.

While we have listed some of the best player and club accounts to follow in the past, some of them, such as Luke Shaw, are no longer active. With that in mind, here are is an up to date list of five Premier League footballers that are highly enjoyable to follow on Snapchat:

#5 - Romelu Lukaku

Username: romelu.lukaku10
What to expect: Dressing room vibes, life lessons, Belgians.

Coming in at #5 is Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, who has publicly said that his snapchat is for his fans to see more of his everyday life. Good for those who want to fantacise about being a footballer.

#4 - Roberto Firmino

What to expect: Shopping in Arndale Centre, goofy filter use, Liverpool training.

We most recently saw his recording of the reception that Liverpool fans gave the team as they arrived to play Dortmund, so expect more of the same with some comedy filters thrown in.

#3 - Alberto Moreno

What to expect: General madness, Liverpool training, singing in the car.

Alberto Moreno is a very funny character, and his refusal to care about how silly he may come across results in some quality snapchat action.

#2 - Dele Alli

Username: delealli36
What to expect: Surprisingly funny snaps, Eric Dier.

Spurs star Alli is 20 years old, this means he understands snapchat. He is surprisingly funny and well worth a follow.

#1 - Mamadou Sakho

Username: mamadousakho3
What to expect: Comedy gold, great parenting.

The king of footballers' snapchats in our humble opinion, big Mama is an essential add to brighten up your snapchat stories.

So there you have it, three Liverpool players in the top five suggest that their squad are the most fun, at least from a social media perspective. Let us know if we left anyone out, although regular snapping is a must!
