Newspapers work to strict deadlines and often the print edtions miss things that happen late in the evening. Yesterday was one of those cases. The Times journalist Rory Smith wrote this opening paragraph under a headline that started"Shrewd Benitez".

Obviously after this column was written Benitez went on a bit of a rant against Chelsea fans that renders the article pretty useless. Unfortunate for Smith but in fairness he did address his bad timing.
