Someone at The Telegraph took jumping the gun to a whole new level on Thursday night, as an Adam Lallana gaff was posted and looks absolutely disastrous in hindsight.

Now, we won't claim that we saw Liverpool's comeback coming when they went 1-3 down, much like everyone until Coutinho pulled one back, but thankfully we kept our thoughts to a tweet:

And a few Liverpool fans were quick to bring that up at the final whistle, but that is presumably because they didn't see this:

Oh dear.

And it gets worse, as the opening lines read:

On what started out as a truly momentous occasion at Anfield, Liverpool's Europa League dreams were scuppered in ten brutal minutes.

The comeback was spectacular. It certainly didn't look like Liverpool could do it, but football is a funny old game.
