Just when we thought things couldn't get any madder regarding Mick McCarthy's singing career, a techno remix of 'Did You Ever?' has dropped this morning.
Here's the story: after the cassette recording of 'Did You Ever?' surfaced last week, the song's original producers dug into their archives and found the original recordings as well as some outtakes. With those nuggets of musical history to hand, they edited together the 'Did You Eve?' techno remix, which features the voice of McCarthy discussing the song as well as the input of one Louis Walsh.
You'll find the results are mindblowing.
We are talking about a radically different song here. The sound quality is massively improved and this remix has even more Mick, if that were possible. Is it too late for a Christmas #1?
