Maybe it's the the fact that they are being revealed so close to St.Patrick's Day, but the new Nike Tiempo Legend 6 boots that will be worn by the likes of Jerome Boateng, Gerard Pique, and Andrea Pirlo at Euro 2016 have an undeniably Irish flair to them.
While the first Tiempo Legend 6 to be released was a simple white and black boot with orange trim, Nike have added some green to produce a boot that is going to be very popular with members of the Irish squad, and look excellent with the new Ireland kit.
It's a gorgeous boot regardless, but the green, white, and orange, make it that much better:
That is some good looking footwear. The likes of Jon Walters, Robbie Brady, Wes Holohan, Seamus Coleman, and John O'Shea are Nike athletes so we can expect to see them wearing the Tiempos in France.
The colour scheme is not only a good look for Ireland, but is also the least crazy of all the Nike Euro 2016 boots which are...
The Hypervenom:
The Magista Obra:
The Vapor:
And The Superfly:
Which means that the purists out there should favour the Tiempo, as they usually do. It's a lovely simple boot.
