If you're punk rock tour of the US ever takes you to Rip City, check out a Portland Timbers match. I know nothing about their style of football, but I was intrigued by their mascot Timber Joey. The bearded, chainsaw-wielding dude essentially revs up his chainsaw all game long, chops a tree during the match and then at the end of the match, awards pieces of wood to the best players on the Timbers. Its gimmicky and its weird, but it might just work.
