They're everyone favourite today and with good reason. In a week in which dour football was driving the news agenda, Bournemouth have been a breadth of fresh air. As good as promoted to the Premier League, Eddie Howe has worked a miracle with an unfancied side by playing the beautiful game in a beautiful way.

Many might point out that that probably won't work at Stamford Bridge next year but as things stand, Bournemouth are one of the most entertaining sides in the Football League and there's two Irishmen who have been key to that.

Harry Arter has been gaining many of the plaudits and rightly so but if it wasn't for an injury hit year, Eunan O'Kane may be the man everyone is looking at. With three Ireland u21 appearances after switching his allegiance from Northern Ireland, O'Kane has looked on the cusp of a breakthrough for a while now and it's easy to see why.

Unfortunately, he's only made 11 Championship appearances this season but he nonetheless has the joint lowest minutes per pass ratio in the league. With Bournemouth now ready to become the Premier League's newest debutants, there's every possibility that O'Kane could make a name for himself next season. Perhaps a challenge to James McCarthy sooner rather than later.
