With thanks to Life Style Sports, we're bringing the Premier League team of the week, with all the stats to back it up.

Instead of having to listen to our often wrong opinion, we've decided to team up with the good people at whoscored.com to show you the best team from an action packed weekend of Premier League action.

Goalkeeper

Costel Pantillimon - 8.6

The Sunderland stopper was in fine form in the derby as he managed to keep Newcastle from scoring during the first half. The Magpies dominated the opening 44 minutes and the game was turned on its head after Coloccini was controversially dismissed.

Sunderland may have gone on to dominate but Pantillimon deserves plenty of credit after he pulled of a whopping eight saves.

Right Back

Kyle Walker - 8.1

Walker has regained his best form this season under Mauricio Pochettino and he put in another good display against Bournemouth over the weekend.

The right back made more tackles than any other player on the pitch in the 5-1 win at Bournemouth, making six in total while the rest of the back four managed eight combined. He also completed 91% of his passes.

Centre Back

Nicholas Otamendi - 7.9

Otamendi's performance at the heart of the City defence against United was argubaly his finest since his big money switch from Valencia. He formed a good partnership with Vincent Kompany and together they reduced Man United to only one real chance when they tested Joe Hart late on.

The Gunners looked assured throughout the game and would have grabbed themselves a clean sheet had it not been for Ross Barkley's wicked deflection.

Almen Abdi - 8.4 The versatile Swiss international put in his best performance of the season in what was Watford's best team performance since their promotion to the Premier League. Deployed as a defensive winger at The Britannia, Abdi made 4 tackles and 6 ball recoveries. His most telling contribution was his fine goal which sealed the 2-0 win for the Hornets. Ross Barkley - 8.4 England international Ross Barkley put in another impressive performance at the Emirates and was unfortunate to be on the losing side. Santi Cazorla - 8.5 Arsenal's midfield maestro was at it once again on Saturday evening as he ran the show from central midfield against Everton. He registered another assist and was the go-to man in the middle of the park with 106 touches of the ball and 92% pass accuracy. Striker

Harry Kane - 10

Spurs fans were delighted to see their star striker return to form during Sundays win over Bournemouth. Kane showed the predatory instinct which we saw so often last year to grab a hat-trick against the Cherries and he'll be hoping he can use his performance to kick on for the rest of the season.
