Zenit St Petersburg are the only team in this years Champions League with a 100% record so far after 4 games. They faced a tricky tie away to Lyon on Wednesday night and came away with an impressive 2-0 win.
Lodygin was on hand to pull off three saves and make two aerial claims as the Russian side maintained their perfect start.

Darijo Srna-8.8
The veteran full back turned in a fine performance as Shakhtar thumped Swedish side Malmo 4-0 in Ukraine.
The Croatian tucked away a penalty during the win and completed 91% of his passes as he terrorised Malmo down the right hand side.

Diego Godin-8.5
Atletico Madrid will be disappointed not to have beaten Champions League debutantes FC Astana of Kazakhstan.
However the conditions were tough for Simeone's men who faced a long flight, -11 degrees conditions and an artificial pitch, so perhaps a point isn't as bad as it looks on paper.
Godin was a rock in defense for Atletico. The Uruguayan won a massive 7 aerial duels and completed 4 tackles to help maintain a clean sheet for the 2013-14 runners up.

Chris Smalling-8.4
Smalling has been one of the stand-out performers for United this season and he put in another solid performance against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday.
Smalling won five aerial duels and made a late clearance off the line to keep the score at 1-0.

Bayern's Austrian left back was in scintillating form as the German champions thumped Arsenal 5-1 in the Allianz Arena.
Alaba registered an assist and capped off a wonderful all-round performance with a wonderful strike from 25 yards out.

Neymar-10 The Brazilian superstar had a hand in all three of Barcelona's goals during the 3-0 win over BATE on Wednesday night. Neymar coolly converted a penalty in the absence of Leo Messi, he assisted Suarez for the second and was on hand to knock in the third. A perfect 10 for the Barca forward.

Thomas Muller-9.0 Although he usually plays higher up the field, Muller's technical position in Bayern's line up is as a central midfielder. Thiago Alcantara-9.8 The Brazilian-born Spanish international is the go-to man in the middle of the Bayern midfield. Everything runs through Thiago and he dominated the middle of the park against Arsenal. Thiago registered a 90% pass completion rate and he assisted Lewandowski's opener. He also had attempted more passes than anyone else and had more accurate passes to his name.

Porto comfortably dismissed Maccabi Tel Aviv on Wednesday night by 3-1 and winger André André had a big part to play.
André teed up Christian Tello for the first goal and then got on the scoresheet himself for Porto's second.

Dutch champions PSV picked up a vital win over Wolfsburg on Tuesday night thanks to a big contribution from former Newcastle flop Luuk De Jong.
The Dutchman teed up Jürgen Locadia for PSV's first and netted the second goal of the game to put the result beyond doubt.

Suarez's goal on Wednesday was his tenth Champions league goal for Barcelona since joining from Liverpool.
