Marbella - the natural habitat of the footballer on his off-season. Twenty years ago, the venue was the scene of a row between the youthful Roy Keane and famously laid-back Gary Pallister.
The man with the impressive bulge was on 'Off the Ball' tonight and verified a story which Andy Cole relayed earlier in the year.
United were recuperating in the sun having being pipped to the title by Blackburn Rovers the previous month.
Those of you who watched Manchester United's pre-season video from 1995 (don't pretend you haven't seen it) will note that Keaney and Pally were particularly pally on United's pre-season tour of Malaysia, wrestling playfully in the pool and generally having a great laugh.
But Colesy painted a different picture, recalling an incident which saw the pair go a whole season without speaking. Pallister instigated it when he disrespected Keane's possessions. Specifically, his watch.
Then I see Pally throw a punch at Roy and Roy's watch fell off. All Roy was concerned about was his watch. He said 'if my watch is broken, Pally, we're gonna have it, we're gonna have it.' I'm standing there thinking 'what is this?'
That was my introduction to Man United. They were two great players and I don't think them two spoke a word after that.
But now they get on very well.
Keane was so enraged by Pally's treatment of his watch, they didn't speak for a season.
Pallister stood behind the story on the OTB roadshow in the Helix tonight.
