It was incredible news last night that Manchester United and Juventus had agreed a world record fee for French midfielder Paul Pogba.
The midfielder, whose fee is reported to be about £100 million - will rejoin the club that raised him through their academy before he left for free to Juventus. Personal terms are also said to be agreed, so what's the hold up.
As ever, it's to do with agents. Pogba's agent - Mino Raiola is due to get a 20% cut of the transfer fee - that's £20 million. The problem is who will pay that money. Will United pay the full £20 million, or will they get a 50/50 split with Juventus.
Raiola has earned quite a sum from United already this summer, after his players Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic moved to Old Trafford.
The transfer is expected to be completed by the end of the week, with this sticking point the only detail left to be sorted before a medical takes places.
