Brendan Rodgers' time at Liverpool wasn't all bad, not by any stretch of the imagination, but there was one thing that never quite happened for him, and that is performing against the big teams away from home.
Jurgen Klopp has had an inconsistent start to his Liverpool tenure, with some disappointing home performances coming in between impressive away victories such as Saturday's excellent showing at The Etihad Stadium, and it's clear that Klopp is already outperforming Rodgers when it comes to those away games.
In fact, after the win against City, a startling stat has emerged that shows just how ineffective Rodgers was at getting results like the ones Liverpool fans have enjoyed so much since Klopp's arrival:

That is crazy.
As Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers' only away win against one of the four big teams (Man United, Man City, Arsenal, and Chelsea) was a 3-0 win at Old Trafford during David Moyes' ill-fated time in charge.
Since taking over six weeks ago Klopp has already masterminded a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge, and an impressive 4-1 win over Man City, so Liverpool fans will be hoping the the German can continue to create stats like this and return the club to where they feel they belong.
