Remember the name, folks. Kenny McEvoy.
Is he as good as Gareth Bale? Probably not. At least if the whole football thing doesn't work out, he could be a double for the main man though.
Interestingly, McEvoy even plied his trade at Tottenham before the move. Again, not unlike the Champions League winning Bale. It might be a step backwards from White Hart Lane, as McEvoy was touted as the next big thing within their youth ranks only last year by the Irish Independent. He was quoted on the comparisons with the Welsh wizard then.
Gareth and I have chatted about it and he told me that I should just be my own person and not to listen to what other people have to say.
Could this be the move that the under-19s Irishman needs? Again, probably not, but here at Balls, we hope to see him in the Premier League in the near future.
