For those in the know, Hyde FC's Twitter account punches well above its weight in terms of popularity. Anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of seeing it, we officially recommend it as 'a cracking good read'. A few days ago the account had a bit of fun with the names of trialists who couldn't be officially listed. Rather than naming them 'Trialist', they were given the names of characters in Game Of Thrones.
While that's worth a chuckle, it pales in comparison to the live tweeting that went on for the club's friendly with Altrincham. Again, the trialist problem was overcome in a graceful manner and it only got better from there.
Can't tweet trialists real names today, so they shall all be named after left-wing revolutionaries. #DasKapital

The quality of the penalties descended quickly from there. Our intrepid social media pioneer was growing restless.
