The Football World Reacts To Leicester Making Premier League History

5,000-1, relegation-threatened late last season, a manager who had never won a top division league title.

You've heard it all before, but you better leave it sink in, because after 100 days and nights atop the Premier League table, Leicester City are champions - and have surpassed the '69 Jets, Buster Douglas and the Greece team from Euro 2004 as arguably the greatest surprise package in the history of sport.

Tensions were high as Jamie Vardy and co. watched the dying seconds of Tottenham's 2-2 draw at Chelsea, but once the final whistle went all hell broke loose, both amongst the players and in pubs across the city.

Both at Vardy's party and elsewhere, the football world reacted to the East Midlands' club monumental achievement, and as you can imagine, the mood was almost exclusively congratulatory, but Vardy did rather ingeniously have a scrawl at Spurs after their 'pride of lions' tweet a couple of weeks back.
