Bosnia-Herzegovina manager Mehmed Bazdarevic has revealed that he could barely give his players any instruction during the second half of their Euro 2016 qualifier with Ireland last night because of the fog.
Speaking to journalists about the match Bazdarevic talked honestly about the result, citing missed chances in the first half which could have given them victory. However when it comes to his analysis of the second 45 minutes, the head coach could offer very little:
We are disappointed. Our fans deserve a lot more. We’ve had some opportunities in the first half. Second half? Honestly, I didn’t see much of it. And it was very difficult to give my players any directions because I couldn’t see.
The reaction to the result has not been positive but Bazdarevic is still hopeful of their chances, 'We will have our chance in Dublin, nothing is lost, our chances are real.'
Little does he know, we have 50 smoke machines ordered for the Aviva Stadium on Monday night.
