Heroism often has a human face, but rarely does it have a manifestation in fashion. This is not the case with Richard Dunne. He'd be famous simply for defying gravity and pulling that ball off the line in the first half of the Euro 2012 qualifier, but it was the ultimate destruction of his jersey in the second half that helped him assume mythical status from that day forth. The below gallery traces the destruction of that resplendent white jersey before Alan Kelly was forced to pull a replacement kit for his bag and unleash black sharpie. Bizarrely, the jersey was auctioned to charity for a mere 7 cents to one Matt McAllister last October.
