Aside from the odd black or grey jersey, and one wild year of luminous orange, Ireland's away jerseys have always been white.
Down the years we've seen white jerseys at Italia 90, USA 94, and Korea/Japan 2002, as well as qualifiers in the back-arse of nowhere, but while some of them have been gorgeous, others have been 'white' with a single letter replaced.
Our current white away jersey is an absolute gem not only because it's easy on the eye, but because Robbie Brady scored that goal in Lille while wearing it and it's forever etched in our memory.. But where does it rank in our all time list?
Read on and find out.
#15 - 2000
So bad. Like a training top we used because we showed up without our kit.
#14 - 1993
Giant Adidas stripes look well out of place. A shocker.
#13 - 2001
The 2002 World Cup jersey, except boring as hell. There's no green on it at all like!
#12 - 2008
And then there's just too much going on in this one, the balance needs to be just right.
#11 - 2010
This is when they start to turn good, but this one was just a tad too plain to make the top 10.
#10 - 2009
A nice jersey, the off-white worked well.
#9 - 2014
Another decent effort, maybe too much blue?
#8 - 2005
Majorly underrated, it looked great without the sponsor.
#7 - 1994
Olé olé olé, now we're talking.
#6 - 1996
The OCD inside wishes that a little splash of green was on the orange part so the sides were an exact mirror, but this was a cracker.
#5 - 2002
With the green shorts, this one was just right. Although it does remind us of penalty heartbreak.
#4 - 2003
The green on the shoulders turning into a tricolour was so good. A beauty.
#3 - 2012
The only good thing about Euro 2012. This was beautiful.
#2 - 2016
Robbie Brady in Lille aside, it's lovely.
#1 - 1990
The green stripes, the orange trim on the collar... Perfection.
