The Completely Justified Outrage At Phil Neville's Sickening Tea Etiquette

Take a look at that picture and you can instantly see what's wrong with it. It may only take up a few pixels but the colour of that tea would indicate something absolutely sickening. The latest episode of BBC's thoroughly enjoyable 'Class of '92: Out of Their League' saw Neville and Paul Scholes sit down over a cup of tea to discuss why one of Salford's better players wasn't being named on the teamsheet.

That's ostensibly what it was about but in reality, the real takeaway was that picture above. Phil Neville removing a tea bag from an already milky cup of tea. Now unless there's some kind of special voodoo nonsense going on, that would seem to suggest that Phil Neville puts milk in the his tea WITH THE TEABAG ALREADY IN IT.

Given that Phil Neville doesn't seem like the kind of man who's tight with the voodoo gods, we'd go as far as saying that's exactly what's going on and it makes us sick. Thankfully we're not the only ones.

We would also like to remind you that this is the same individual who's heart sank when a journalist asked him for a cup of coffee earlier this year. He'd never made a cup of coffee in his life so he genuinely had to ring his wife to ask for help.

That's bad enough but the tea incident, imagine allowing that kind of thing to be broadcast to millions, that's just a step too far.
