Holy hell, there's a lot of sport around this weekend. To get even more invested in it, we've scratched our heads and come up with the five best bets of the weekend. Behold, the big Balls.ie weekend accumulator.
QPR to beat Boro tonight (9/4)
This one I feel the worst about. You never want your first bet of the weekend to be an accumulator buster but our Championship sage Gary Reilly has a hunch that Boro are set up for a loss tonight. QPR are fourth in the Championship's form guide and arrive on a winning streak at Loftus Road.
Dublin to beat Kildare in the u21s tomorrow. (11/10)
It seems obligatory now that Dublin's gaelic footballers are favourites in every match they play. But surprisingly Kildare are the favourites when the counties clash tomorrow afternoon. Kildare have been dangerous in this competition in the past - and they hammered Westmeath in the semifinal - but Dublin have serious pedigree. Sean Moran would have you believe they'll be very hard to beat this season.
Luke Keelor to beat Tom Doran (11/10)
Keeler-Doran 2 takes place this Saturday night in Liverpool. You can watch it on Sky. Doran won the first meeting between the two but the smart money is on Luke Keeler, who broke his hand at a point when the first fight was still winnable. We sense his fortunes will change for the better this Saturday.
Man United vs Everton +2.5 goals (evens)
Two teams badly in need of a win. Two teams with in-form strikers. Two teams with terrible defenses. Slam dunk.
Clare +3 vs Tipp (evens)
It was very hard to turn my back on Clare and the money line but I'll happily take those 3 points. Clare are arguably the best team in the country at the moment and Davy Fitz will be looking for a scalp. Step forward Tipp.
When our bets come through, our 5 quid will get us 347.34 euro. It's on.
